I am a PhD student of the 39th cycle at the Computer Science department of the University of Turin. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from the same department in 2019 and 2022, respectively. During the final year of my master’s degree, as part of an internship with Addfor Industriale, I conducted research for my master’s thesis focusing on the efficiency of transformer models in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Following the completion of my master’s degree, I transitioned into a full-time role at Addfor Industriale, where I worked on computer vision projects over the course of one and a half years. Building upon my academic and professional career, I am now pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Valerio Basile and Attilio Fiandrotti with the goal of deepening my expertise in the field of deep learning. Given my background in NLP and computer vision, I expanded my research interests in the multimodal learning field while also maintaining my focus on improving the efficiency of transformer models.
