EIDOSLAB is the Unito home to research in areas of image processing, computer vision and virtual reality. Understanding, managing and processing of visual data represents an unexhausted source of complex information that can be applied to many areas of science. Nowadays, visual data can be originated by both physical and simulated events. The goal of the activities of the EIDOSLAB is to carry state of the art research in the areas of computer vision and multimedia that nowadays represent major drivers of new technology with high societal impact. Our lab seeks fundamental research results recognized by pubblications in leading journals and top notch conference proceedings. Still, our roots are in the learning by doing thanks to our collaborations with international projects and industrial partners.
